Continuing Care

We work diligently to understand the full scope of your dental health, and to keep our information up to date.  Your dentist and hygienist will routinely evaluate the following:

• Diagnostic X-rays: Essential for detection of decay, pathology, defective restorations and bone loss.  
• Oral cancer screening: Check the face, neck, lips, tongue, throat, tissues, and gums for any signs of oral lesions. Note: not all oral lesions are cancerous.
• Periodontal evaluation: Check the gums and bone around the teeth for any signs of periodontal disease.
• Evaluation for tooth decay: All tooth surfaces will be checked for decay.
• Examination of existing restorations: Check existing restorations for repair or replacement.
